As per the GDPR guidelines we ensure all information is:

used in a way that is adequate, relevant and limited to only what is necessary
accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date
kept for no longer than required
handled in a way that ensures appropriate security
Patients and clients have certain rights under this act, as well. They have the right to be informed about how their data is used, and they can object to how data is processed and erase it if necessary.
Personal information is kept private and secure at all times!
All employees working in Ostara Care are bound by a legal duty of confidence to protect personal information they may come into contact with during the course of their work. This is not just a requirement of their contractual responsibilities but also a requirement within the common law duty of confidence and data protection legislation – the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA2018) which implements the GDPR in the UK.
