Samantha Wingrove BA Health and Social Care 1st class (Hons) PGCE

Samantha’s career in Health and Social Care began in domiciliary care 14 years ago visiting and supporting people in the Witham area.

New learning opportunities were found in Ipswich and Colchester Hospital NHS on medical wards and delivery suites.

This led to an academic career since 2015 lecturing on the complexities and importance of Health and Social Care in today’s world.

Today Samantha lectures and trains all Ostara Care Staff members to provide the very best care support services with relevant and key strategies in todays changing world where care is becoming more of a certainty in everyone’s lives at some point.

Ostara’s aim is to support care to become more full of achievement, self-belief and joy.

Alana Wilson BA Health and Social Care (Hons)

Alana’s career in Heath and Social Care began straight into academia. Her studies being in both adult and children’s services.

Alana was a volunteer with Interact, an organisation that supports and encourages adults with learning disabilities to engage within the community and promote activities and creative ideas to enable quality life experiences.

Alana managed a successful nursery in Chelmsford where she developed a keen interest in the care of children with physical and learning disabilities.

This led to a role as a learning support assistant at a local secondary school where she enjoyed supporting students in strategies to over come barriers and to thrive.

Alana was the safeguarding lead within her management role and is the current safeguarding lead for Latchingdon Amateur Dramatic Society (L.A.D.S).

Today Alana manages Ostara Care Ltd using her exceptional experience as both a manager and as a proficient supervisor.
